this site (fromAOL) in August 2002.
I hope that, as this site is developed, other related family
topics will also be covered.
Genealogical research was something I was able to undertake
seriously only after retiring in 1994 from Parish Ministry in the Anglican Church. This has not been a solitary
task by any means but one in which I have had the great pleasure of discovering and meeting hitherto unknown cousins
around the world and coming to regard them as great friends.
The story is not complete and is still being written. There
are still several avenues of research to be followed up. My personal researches will continue, albeit only modestly
compared with the first years! I would hope that other members of the wider family might also be interested in developing
the Petfield story.
